Iowa Quilts Added to the Quilt Index.
The Quilt Index, a partnership project of the Alliance for American Quilts and Michigan State University announces the addition of quilt images and information from the Mary A. Barton Collection and the Iowa Quilt Research Project, both archived at the State Historical Society of Iowa. The vibrant tied crazy quilt at left was made by Iowa quiltmaker Clarissa Faltz between 1890-1925.
